Brown County Saints is small and family oriented. Our girls came to us when they were 11 weeks old.
They were something wonderful! Our girls are sisters and will be two years of age in April of 2005. Our Chrissy
is expecting her first litter in June 2005.
The Saint Bernard is a wonderful family pet that love attention and is great with children. We have three
small children, and they actually ride and play with all four of our Saints!! Our Saints are protective, but are
not good guard dogs, which is common of all Saints.
When considering purchasing a Saint, please do research to make sure this is the right breed for you. They are
a very large, massive animal and can be somewhat clumsy. Saints tend to be like a large teddy bear. They sometimes
do not realize they are not pups anymore, and try to be lap dogs.
We are striving for Show Quality pups in the future. Currently, we will have pet quality. We are currently
putting names on a waiting list for Chrissy's first litter!! Breeding is not for the faint of heart. It is not for the
money, it is for the love of the breed and the desire to help imporve the breed! If you are interested in purchasing
one of our pups, please contact us. You will be answered within 24 hours of the email. If you do not get an answer,
please email again.
Let's talk about our Chrissy... She is a rough coat. She has a half mask, but she absolutely wonderful.
She is currently tipping the scale at approximately 165 lbs. She is a big girl! She belongs to our three year
old. Her AKC name is ARyn Michael's Mean Christine...
Now about Princess, who will have a litter in the late fall early winter of 2005. She is a short hair with European
markings. She is wonderful as well. She actually belongs to my six year old. Her AKC name is Tyler Jacob's
Lil Miss Princess.
If you have any questions, please contact me. We are located in Brown County Indiana. Our girls currently
stay in the kennel during the muddy season. (with small children, you get enough mud in the house and the one year old baby
likes to taste it!! ha ha) We had to chain them for a small period of time, which is not recommended to anyone who is
interested in purchasing a Saint pup. It is mean. I HAD to do it, but built them a kennel as soon as I could.
They are free roaming in the kennel now. They were bothering our neighbors (we live in an elderly community and they
all breed SMALL dogs, so when they see Saints barrelling that way, it frightens them) You will see pictures of them while
on the chains. I felt horrible and it made me ill to think about it.
We also have rescued Saints.
